Google Cloud, in collaboration with Boston Consulting Group (BCG), has officially opened an AI Innovation Hub in Indonesia. This initiative is aimed at empowering local businesses to scale innovation by leveraging artificial intelligence (AI).
"The AI Innovation Hub demonstrates our strong commitment to equipping Indonesian businesses with the right tools to thrive in the AI-driven future," said Fanly Tanto, Country Director of Google Cloud Indonesia, in a press statement cited by Antara on Friday, March 14, 2025.
According to Tanto, the center is established to help both corporations and government bodies enhance operational efficiency, deliver superior customer experiences, and explore new growth avenues through the use of AI.
The hub provides expert guidance, cutting-edge technology, training resources, and strategic support. It enables organizations to explore the potential of generative AI tailored to their unique challenges, identify areas where AI can deliver solutions, and conduct pilot testing on a smaller scale before full deployment.
Tanto also highlighted that the facility includes an AI sandbox, a dedicated environment built on Google Cloud's powerful infrastructure. This sandbox features the Vertex AI platform, state-of-the-art AI models, and developer-friendly tools designed for easy integration.
"By blending Google Cloud's leading AI technologies with BCG's in-depth industry expertise, we are confident that we can help Indonesian companies transform their business objectives into concrete strategies, well-crafted designs, and successful executions, giving them a competitive advantage," he concluded.
